Let’s be honest. Most content looks helpful, but does nothing.
If it doesn’t connect or build trust, it won’t sell. How do I know?
Because I’ve done that. Spending hours writing posts that got ignored because they had information, but no soul.
So I started learning and digging into successful business owners’ posts, and I found what was working.
That’s when I started using psychology and AI the smart way.
So let me show you how to create high-value content that sells.

I share behind-the-scenes tips, AI prompts, and tools on Facebook – come hang out with me.
Start With a Clear Purpose
You can’t create high-value content that sells if you don’t know what you’re actually trying to do with it.
I used to skip this part and just open ChatGPT like, “Okay, let’s go.” But that’s where things go wrong.
Before you use AI, you’ve got to decide what niche you’re creating content for.
Then figure out who your audience is and what they’re struggling with.
And most importantly: what result do you want them to get from your content?
This could be a course, an e-book, lead magnets, or even just a social media post.
If you don’t know what result you’re helping them get, your content will be all over the place.
So get that clarity first, then give that info to ChatGPT. Because if you don’t, it’s just gonna make stuff up (hallucinate).
You’ll get generic, vague nonsense. And no one wants that.
Action Steps:
- Pick one niche and stick to it
- Write down your audience’s biggest pain points
- Decide what ONE outcome your content will help them get
That’s your foundation. Without it, everything else is a mess.
Use Specialized Knowledge
Look, you don’t need to be an expert in everything. But you do need to organize what you already know.
Before you go asking ChatGPT for help, take a sec to write down what you actually know about the topic. What have you learned? What do you believe? What’s worked for you?
And then…what do you still need to learn?
That’s how I do it. I brain-dump everything I already know, then use ChatGPT to help me fill in the gaps.
Sometimes I’ll ask it to do deep research or give me the top FAQs around a topic.
It’s super helpful when I don’t know what people are Googling or searching for on YouTube.
But here’s the part most people skip. You have to add your own opinions, your experiences, your real-life stories.
You can’t just copy-paste what AI gives you and expect people to care. That’s not how trust is built.
I’ve created content before that was technically “correct,” but it didn’t sell. Why? Because it sounded like everyone else.
What actually worked was when I added my take on things. When I shared what I really thought.
Action Steps:
- List what you already know about the topic
- Ask ChatGPT to find missing pieces or FAQs
- Add your real opinions, examples, and voice
That’s the kind of content people remember and buy from.
Trigger Emotional Safety
If your content makes people feel judged or dumb, they’re not sticking around.
Our brains shut off when something feels confusing or cold.
So here’s the deal…you’ve got to make your content feel safe, simple, and relatable. That’s what actually keeps people engaged.
And yes, ChatGPT can help with this too. I use it all the time to simplify my messy explanations.
Sometimes I’ll read something I wrote and go, “What the hell was I even trying to say?”
So I’ll pop it into ChatGPT and ask it to reword it like I’m talking to a friend.
Suddenly, it sounds warm and friendly and makes way more sense.
You can also ask AI to add encouragement or personality to your content.
If something feels dry or robotic, use this in your AI prompt: “Humanize the content.”
Because when people feel safe and seen in your content, they’ll trust you.
And when they trust you, they’ll actually listen to what you’re saying.
Action Steps:
- Use ChatGPT to reword complex ideas
- Ask it to make your content sound warm, casual, and human
- Add friendly, encouraging language throughout
Create a Fun Experience
People don’t need more information. They need a fun and exciting experience.
Let’s be honest, most of the knowledge on the internet is boring.
Dry blog posts, generic videos, and e-books that feel like homework. No one wants that.
I’ve noticed this shift big time. People don’t just want to learn. They want to enjoy it.
So whatever you’re creating social media posts, a course, an e-book – ask yourself…
“Is this fun to go through?” If the answer is no, fix it.
You can use ChatGPT to come up with short quizzes, fun challenges, or little worksheets.
I sometimes ask it for memes or creative ideas to turn something boring into something playful.
It’s way easier for your customers and followers to stay engaged when it feels like a fun convo, not a textbook.
Action Steps:
- Ask ChatGPT to help you turn your idea into a quiz or mini challenge
- Add visuals, memes, or relatable examples
- Make your content feel like an experience, not a lecture
Make It Feel Personal with Identity Triggers
Here’s something most people don’t realize…
The brain ignores content that feels irrelevant. But it locks in on anything that feels personal (relatable).
So if your audience doesn’t see themselves in your content, they’ll scroll right past it.
That’s why I use ChatGPT to reflect their words and struggles back to them.
If they say, “I’m feeling so stressed and overwhelmed by content creation,” I would write:
“Are you feeling stressed out and overwhelmed when writing content?“
See how it’s the exact same words? That mirror moment makes them go, “This is me.”
When you reflect their real language, it cuts through the noise and feels like you’re speaking directly to them.
You can also use identity lines like:
- “You’re the type of person who keeps showing up, even when it’s hard.”
- “If you’re someone who’s tired of writing content that gets ignored…”
It needs to feel like a mirror, not a lecture.
And another important thing you should never forget – you’re not the hero of the story. Your audience is.
You’re the guide, and your job is to make the transformation about them, not about how smart you are.
Action Steps:
- Use your audience’s actual words and phrases
- Ask ChatGPT to rewrite your content in their language
- Make it about their struggles and transformation

Plan It Like a Boss
Winging it doesn’t work. Ask me how I know 🫣
I’d write a post on the fly and just hoped it would work. But it never worked like I wanted it to.
So now I plan everything out first – even if it’s just a quick outline. And yup, I use ChatGPT to help with that too.
You can tell it what you want to create, and it’ll give you a clean outline in seconds.
A course, an e-book, a blog post, or even just a content series on social media…doesn’t matter. It works for all of it.
But don’t stop there. Add your own structure. Break it into steps, categories, or lessons. And don’t try to solve everything in one post or module.
This is where a lot of business owners make a mistake. They overload the content, trying to be helpful, and end up overwhelming their audience.
So instead, focus on one specific thing, break it down, and keep it simple.
Here’s what I do:
- When I create something bigger, like a course, I split it into modules.
- Then I go inside each one and outline it step by step.
- That makes it easier to write, and way easier for my audience to follow.
Action Steps:
- Ask ChatGPT to help you outline your next idea
- Break it into simple steps or modules
- Add your stories, visuals, and personality after
Plan first, then create. That’s how you stop guessing and start building content that actually works.

Lead With Real Value
The internet is packed with fluff. There’s good info out there, too, but most of it is boring, and business owners don’t share their own opinions or experiences.
I used to do that too. I’d write posts that sounded helpful, but they didn’t have my story or my take on things.
Now, I always explain what happened to me so my audience can see I’ve been through it. Storytelling is what builds trust.
Another important thing is this: if your content isn’t solving a real problem or showing a clear outcome, people won’t care.
They’ll scroll past it or think, “Okay…but how does this help me?”
So you’ve got to focus on ONE problem and solve it. Give practical and actionable steps they can easily follow.
Because let’s be honest…we’ve all bought courses that were just a pile of info with no clear process.
Your content should be simple and specific. Not vague like “How to lose weight.” Be clear. Who is it for? What’s the method?
You can also use ChatGPT to help you create checklists, short summaries, or templates.
But don’t overdo it. If you add 10 worksheets and 3 bonus PDFs, they’ll say, “Ugh, I don’t have time for all this.”
Action Steps:
- Focus on one problem
- Be specific with your solution
- Use ChatGPT to help create something simple and actionable
Monetize the Smart Way
Yes, your content should help people, but it should also help you make money.
If you’re not selling anything, you don’t have a business. It’s just a hobby that takes up your time.
So pick one offer – like a course, PDF, or workshop – and start selling it on your store.
I sell my products on PayHip, but you can also do that on your website, Etsy, Gumroad, etc.
Want to add more value? You can offer bundles or special access – just don’t go overboard.
If you overload your product with too many extras, it’s going to scare people off.
They’ll read your sales page and think, “Oh my god, this looks amazing…but I don’t have time to go through all this.”
So keep it simple, show them the result they’ll get, and don’t just list the stuff inside.
Subscriptions can work too, but only if the experience is amazing.
If it’s average, people will sign up for one month and leave.
Action Steps:
- Pick one main product you want to promote
- Use ChatGPT to brainstorm bonuses or bundles (but keep it light)
- Always focus on the outcome that your audience will get
Your content can serve and sell when you keep it focused.
Stay Consistent (Even When It’s Hard)
Let’s be real…showing up every day isn’t easy.
There will be days when content feels hard. You’ll want to quit because no one’s engaging.
But you’ve got to push through that. Success is simple, but it’s not easy.
You have to keep showing up, not with random tips, but with real value and your personality.
Because if people don’t know who you are, they’re not going to follow you…and they will definitely not buy from you.
That used to be me. I’d post value only – no opinions, no personality, nothing about me.
And guess what? It didn’t work.
Also, listen to your audience’s feedback, but don’t take it personally.
If someone says, “This part in the course was confusing,” don’t sweat, just improve it.
You could go to ChatGPT and say, “Okay, what’s confusing about this? How can I simplify it?”
And the last essential thing – don’t let perfectionism stop you.
I’ll be honest, I still struggle with it. So this reminder is for both of us:
Publish the post, launch the thing, fix it later.
Action Steps:
- Keep showing up even when it’s uncomfortable
- Use the audience’s feedback to improve your content
- Ask ChatGPT to help simplify confusing parts
Stay flexible. Perfection isn’t the goal – progress is.
Build Trust with Repetition and Clarity
People trust what they understand. And they understand what they’ve seen or heard more than once.
That’s why repetition matters so much.
You’re not annoying people by saying the same thing in different ways.
You’re actually helping them remember it.
I do this in my content all the time. I take one key idea and sprinkle it throughout my posts, emails, and products.
Sometimes I’ll say it as a question, sometimes as a statement, sometimes in a story.
You can ask ChatGPT to help with this, too.
Give it your main idea and say, “Can you say this 5 different ways that still feel natural and clear?”
Also…keep your language simple.
If people don’t get what you’re saying, they’re not going to stick around.
So I always run things through ChatGPT and ask, “Can you simplify this so it sounds more casual and friendly?” It makes a huge difference.
Action Steps:
- Repeat your key ideas in different formats
- Use ChatGPT to rewrite them in new ways
- Simplify your language until it sounds like a real conversation

You’re Not Meant To Do It All Alone
Let me just say it…you don’t have to do everything by yourself.
I used to try. I thought, “Well, I’ll just push through. I’ll figure it all out.”
But it just made me tired, slow, and frustrated.
If you can, hire help. A VA, a content creator, a social media manager – whatever you need.
And if you can’t afford that yet? Start with AI.
You don’t need 10 different tools. Just pick one and get really good at it.
I recommend ChatGPT because it’s honestly easy to use.
You can also use AI tools for graphics or video. I like Ideogram and Leonardo AI for Pinterest pins and other visuals.
Just choose one tool for each task so you don’t get overwhelmed.
Action Steps:
- Figure out what tasks drain your time or energy
- Use ChatGPT (or hire someone) to take that load off
- Don’t try to be a one-person team forever
Conclusion
Creating high-value content that sells isn’t just about sharing tips.
It’s about being clear, personal, and consistent, while using AI to make it easier.
You’ve got what you need, now go create something that helps your audience and moves your business forward.
You don’t need to overthink it. Just take action – one post, one product, one step at a time.
