Having an abundance mindset can help you go from failure to success pretty fast. Yes, your mind is so powerful.

That’s the reason why I wanted to collaborate with Elaine. She is an incredible entrepreneur with a positive mindset and a great story to share.

At first, her team reached out and interviewed me. That’s when I read more about her life and what she went through. Right away, I noticed she thinks and lives in abundance.

And that’s how I got the idea for this interview. I’m sure Elaine will inspire and motivate you, so read the whole post below and don’t forget to take notes.

1. Tell us about yourself and what you do:

Elaine Rau Interview On Abundance Mindset

I’m a full-time blogger at LadyBossBlogger.com. It’s a resource for aspiring bloggers, influencers, and entrepreneurs to learn how to start their own online business.

I have helped thousands of other aspiring ladybossblogger’s reach their goals by teaching what I know through my online courses  LadyBossBloggerCourses.com.

2. Why did you decide to start your own business?

I never thought being an entrepreneur was possible for me. It was circumstantial that I became an entrepreneur.

Basically, I asked my boss if I could attend my boyfriend’s brother’s funeral overseas and he said no. So I quit, moved overseas to be with my boyfriend, and had nothing else to do, so I started a blog that turned into my business.

3. Did you ever think of giving up on your business? If so, how did you overcome that thought?

Entrepreneurship is full of peaks and valleys, there is not a single successful entrepreneur I know who hasn’t wanted to give up.

I believe the only difference between those that succeed and those that don’t, are the ones that don’t give up. I just keep trying new things, pushing my own limits, and keep going no matter what.

4. How did you shift from a scarcity mindset to an abundance mindset?

During the pandemic, my mindset has completely shifted from striving for the next best thing to celebrating and enjoying life at a slower pace.

While it’s good to be the best you can be, it’s equally as important to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Your health is your wealth, without it, you can’t enjoy anything, so paying attention to my physical, mental and emotional health is now a top priority for me.

5. How does your daily mindset routine look like?

I do daily devotionals to center myself in Christ and am currently going through this book called Rooted. I also read the Bible to stay close to God because without God there is no purpose in this life.

6. If you could go back in time, what would you tell your younger self about the abundance mindset?

You are more capable than you think you are. Don’t deceive yourself into thinking anything less.

No one knows what they are doing, everyone is just figuring it out along the way, so just figure life out as you go! It’s not a race, enjoy the process.

7. What was the best mindset advice you received?

Focus on the good. There is ALWAYS something good that can be celebrated no matter how bleak the moment.

What you focus on is usually what happens, so if you keep telling yourself that you can do it, you’ll start believing it, and then you’ll actually achieve what you set your mind to do.

8. What are your top #3 abundance mindset quotes? How did these quotes help you?

Elaine And Abundance Mindset

1.) There is no room for negative self-talk.
Talk to yourself the way you would talk to your best friend, if you wouldn’t say something about them, don’t say it about yourself.

I have post-it notes stuck to all my mirrors with affirmations so just in case I’m unhappy with the way I look, I immediately have something to combat that though – it’s been a game-changer for me!

2.) Surround yourself with positive influences.
During the pandemic, I started to feel really isolated, but instead of wallowing in that, I decided to ask one of my dear neighbors if she would be my mentor so I could get a chance to hang out with her brilliant mind and start building a friendship that was not only close in proximity but also extremely positive.

I felt like a failure even after I had built my massive business because COVID was affecting my mental health and she was able to draw me back out from inside my head and affirm what she saw in me!

3.) There is no such thing as failure.
I really believe that we all just have things that work for us and things that don’t. There is no solution to failure, but if you think of it as a work in progress and something that didn’t work, you can find the solution that works.

Words matter and have power, so if you’re terrified of failure like I am, call it something else and don’t give power to it anymore!
