Creating content every day doesn’t make you consistent – it makes you exhausted.

If you’ve been publishing blog posts and letting them sit untouched, you’re wasting time and missing out on a smarter way to show up online.

Instead of writing from scratch over and over, I’ll show you how to turn one article into multiple scroll-stopping social media posts. This is a content creation workflow that helps me stay visible without burning out.

If you’ve been wondering how to create social media content without spending hours on it, you’re about to see a much easier way to do it.

This post includes affiliate links to products I love and recommend, meaning I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Please read full disclosure for more information.

What Most People Do (and Why It Doesn’t Work)

If you’re asking ChatGPT to do your whole post at once – STOP! That’s why your content sounds off.

Most people take their entire blog post, dump it into ChatGPT, and say, “Give me 7 social media posts.” But AI tools aren’t magic. It needs guidance.

You get generic content that jumps from one topic to the next. And look, I’m speaking from my own experience. I used to do this too, and it never gave me anything worth posting.

If you’re doing this, I get it – it feels faster. But it actually slows you down because you have to rewrite everything anyway. You want better content? You need to guide AI step by step.

How I Actually Create Social Media Posts From My Blog

Here’s exactly what I do – I copy one H2 section from my blog post (not just a paragraph, the whole section). Then I ask ChatGPT to write 10 hooks.

Why just hooks and not the whole post? Because AI tools write better if you give them one specific step.

Once I have those 10 hooks, I pick the one I like the most. Then I give ChatGPT:

  • The hook I chose
  • The full blog section again
  • And I tell it to create a Facebook post
  • I say exactly how many words I want
  • What kind of CTA to use
  • And that I want 5 extra CTA options

This is what makes AI actually useful – specific prompts. You don’t need to overcomplicate it, just be clear.

That’s how I repurpose blog content into social media posts.

But if creating that blog post in the first place feels like the part that’s slowing you down, that’s exactly why I created the AI Content System.

It helps you plan, write, and repurpose a MONTH of social media content in just 2 hours – so you’re not constantly starting from scratch or stuck in content limbo.

This is for when your brain’s fried, your to-do list is full, and you still want to show up like the expert you are – without burning out.

It’s a repeatable system you can use every single month to stay visible, consistent, and in control. And when you’re not chasing last-minute ideas anymore…content actually starts to feel fun again.

Want to Post on Other Social Platforms Too? Here’s What I Do

Once I have that Facebook post, I repurpose it for other platforms. But I don’t just copy and paste it.

Each platform has its own style and rules. Threads, Instagram, LinkedIn – they all want different things.

Before you ask ChatGPT to rewrite the content, do your research. Understand what works best on that platform: character limits, tone, formatting, types of content.

Then give ChatGPT that information and say, “Turn this into a post for [platform name].” When you give it the context, it will actually give you something decent.

Because remember, you’re the expert and ChatGPT is just your assistant. So guide it properly, and you’ll get content that fits each platform, without extra work.

AI Is Just Your Assistant

Let me say this louder for the people in the back: AI isn’t your boss – YOU are.

If you give it clear direction, it saves you time. If you’re vague, it wastes your time.

I’ve heard people say, “AI doesn’t work for me.” Yeah…that’s because you didn’t use it right.

You can’t expect it to read your mind. You need to tell it what to do. So stop waiting for perfect content from AI. Start leading the process like the CEO you are.

What You Need to Remember

Here’s the short version:

  • Don’t ask AI to do everything at once
  • Use one H2 section at a time
  • Ask for hooks first
  • Then build out the post with clear prompts
  • Be specific about the platform
  • Give it your brand voice, audience info
  • Always double check what it gives you
  • And do your own research when needed
  • Humanize the AI content

Once you follow this process, you’ll never go back. It’s faster, easier, and way more on-brand.

Your blog posts can do so much more than just sit there. Make them work for you – over and over again.

Final Thoughts

You don’t need to write more to stay consistent – you just need to work smarter.

Repurposing your blog posts with AI lets you create content fast, without burning out. The steps I shared here are simple, but powerful when done right.

And if you want a system that helps you create a MONTH of content in 2 hours, check out my AI Content System. It shows you how to train AI to write like you, create 30+ posts every month, and finally stay consistent with your content.
